Caleva's variable density extruder-VDE and spheronizer MBS-250 were successfully installed and accepted in Beijing Xinkaiyuan Pharmaceutical Ltd. in March 2022.
Extruder-VDE is equipped with screw extrusion and basket screen extrusion to realize extrusion methods of different processes. At the same time, it has 0.8mm, 1.0mm and 1.2mm molds, which can prepare pellets of different sizes. In the two-day installation and debugging process, a lot of application experiments have been done, including the preparation of soft material,different extrusion methods, different specifications of rolling discs, different rotational speeds, and different spheronization times, and the experimental conditions were optimized. Finally, 0.8mm pellets with uniform size were obtained, and the effect was good.
